Presentation Software

We use Presenter Version 3 (Standard Edition) for projecting song words via a data projector.

Bible Software

If you are looking for basic bible software, try http://www.e-sword.net. The text of various translations, commentaries, and dictionaries are availble. The NIV translation is available at a nominal fee and includes Today's New International Version® Bible (TNIV) in todays language, and The New International Reader's Version® Bible (NIrV) and NIrV for young children and new readers).

Virus Protection Software

If you are looking for basic virus production software, try Avast Home Edition or AVG Free.

Internet Filter

If you are looking for a basic internet content filter, try FamilyShield.

Microsoft Office 2007 Compatibility Pack

Microsoft have produced a compatiblity pack to allow users of Office 2000, Office XP, and Office 2003, to open, edit and save files using the new 2007 file formats. For more information see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/924074.

PDF Software

Do you need to create PDF files so that others can read your documents without having the latest versions? Try PDFCreator. It installes itself as a printer. You then "print" to the "PDFCreator" printer which allows you so save anything as a PDF file. PDFCreator is also available from http://sourceforge.net/projects/pdfcreator. Alternatively, if you have Office 2007, you can save documents as PDF files directly.
